A Midland, Texas, parade float was trapped between the crossing arms on a train track Thursday when a train collided with the float, killing four and wounding 16. A Madison resident and his wife – riders on the float that carried U.S. war veterans -- survived the incident by jumping moments before the train hit the flatbed.
